KATY PERRY IN NYC ALL WEEK

Kid Cudi to star in HBO series “How To Make It In America”

Cudi still has yet to release a major full-length album and he already has secured a lead role in a TV series. Cudi recently confirmed he will be starring in the new HBO series “How To Make It In America” to the Arizona Republic newspaper and stated the following:

“It’s called “How to Make It in America.” It’s produced by the guys that did Entourage. Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer. It’s directed by Julian Farino, who also did Sex and the City, several episodes of that and The Sopranos, and Entourage. I have a lead role. My character’s name is Domingo Dean. I actually named my character after both of my brothers - Dean, who lives in Phoenix, being one of them, and Domingo.”

The show will follow three twenty-something hopefuls in New York (Cudi being one of them) who is striving to live the American dream. Cudi was insistent though that his character in the show have nothing to do with music. The comedy was just announced with no production schedule or details as of yet. Props to Cudi for landing such a major role with little experience.

Fact # 67 Temple University has the most diverse campus in the United States

well folks..its my last official day of college.  I'm graduating!  No more long stupid essays, boring lectures, and shitty administration.   Overall i'd have to say college has been one crazy ride.  I have grown SO much, met so many amazing people, and have accomplished some awesome things.  My freshman year at Rowan was of course the best and unforgettable.  Me,Cyn, and Jer will always be close and i love them to death.  I'm so sorry for leaving you guys.  Transferring was a big decision and i don't regret it but if i had known what i know now I should have probably stayed at Rowan.  Honestly, i dont even know why i transfered?? i was just being a rebel and made a huge deal about it.  My sister is actually graduating college and is going to attend Rowan.  I am so happy for he because she is such a homebody.  She is going to experience so many new things and finally will grow up and realize what shes been missing. College was the best thing to ever happen to me. EVER.

MY NEXT MOVE..I will be moving to Manhattan to pursue a career in the music industry( hopefully that works out)  I will be working at Glassnote Records with one of the most  prominent figures in A&R.  I am also transferring to Lucky strike Manhattan-hopefully i will make lots of money!  I am SO excited because i have dreamed of NYC since i was a little girl.

Freshman>I remember being SOOO shook cuz you dont know anybody.  but you realize everyone is in the same boat as you.  I partied hard  with Cyn, i dont even know how i didnt fail out that year.  Awesome memories

Sophmore>moved into a house with 4 girls--BAAAAD MOVE.  I basically became a total pothead and decided i hated the suburbs.

Junior >Transfered to Temple and didnt meet anybody.  I got into a serious relationship that took over my life and lost touch of myself. Realized the true value of a dollar.

Senior Year> Worked hard. played hard ...and cut out the unwanted.

CD Review

i ha to d a CD review for my record label class.  Now i dont really BUY CD thanks to the internet but i used to get MAD CD's from Wired for free.  I chose this..since i saw the movie, which by the way was pretty good...anyway, this CD was basically like a greatest hits CD.  Big didnt really need one cuz he only had 2 hot records but overall it was pretty good.  It has brooklyn we go hard with Santigold and a track with Big and Faiths Son.  I wouldnt go run tot he store to get this but i guess its worth listening too

I saw Revolutionary Road. B- (if your into that random ish...)

it was wierd.  Titanic was a great movie and i'm not gonna lie. i've seen it a MILLION times  Theres all this 'Oscar buzz' about it.  The acting was really great in it.  The movie was about this couple who moved to the suburbs and started a normal "married" life together.  What i got from it???  DONT get married. DONT live in the suburbs...because you'll end up hating your life and you will get bored with your partner.  There was this really random abortion scene that came up to that was kind of disturbing.  The movie was sad.  i suggest you go see Slumdog Millionaire. haha
