CD Review

i ha to d a CD review for my record label class.  Now i dont really BUY CD thanks to the internet but i used to get MAD CD's from Wired for free.  I chose this..since i saw the movie, which by the way was pretty good...anyway, this CD was basically like a greatest hits CD.  Big didnt really need one cuz he only had 2 hot records but overall it was pretty good.  It has brooklyn we go hard with Santigold and a track with Big and Faiths Son.  I wouldnt go run tot he store to get this but i guess its worth listening too

I went to Chris's Jazz cafe the other night and saw 2 great performances. Damon Hamilton and the Yameans & Saxophonist Albert Rivera & his Quartet.

Im not gonna lie, first dude looked and sounded just like Brian McKnight and the 2nd band was pretty sick.  My man on the keys was amazzzing. check them out!

 Both at the TLA on South Street.  Katy is nominated for a couple of grammys.  I like her because she writes her own songs, i like her style, and shes a good performer, her personality really shines thru.  Justin on the other hand, his voice is just amazing.

I saw Revolutionary Road. B- (if your into that random ish...)

it was wierd.  Titanic was a great movie and i'm not gonna lie. i've seen it a MILLION times  Theres all this 'Oscar buzz' about it.  The acting was really great in it.  The movie was about this couple who moved to the suburbs and started a normal "married" life together.  What i got from it???  DONT get married. DONT live in the suburbs...because you'll end up hating your life and you will get bored with your partner.  There was this really random abortion scene that came up to that was kind of disturbing.  The movie was sad.  i suggest you go see Slumdog Millionaire. haha
